Description: Heather Park is representative of the many small parks dotting neighborhoods on the East and West side of Vancouver. Established in 1913, it occupies a single city block in the Shaughnessy neighborhood, bordered by quiet side streets and only 5 blocks away from Rackets & Runners.

Location:  Three blocks East of Oak Street, 702 W. 18th Ave at Heather St.

BallRating2Playing Surface/Net Condition: Although the courts have recently been repainted, the surface was not refinished and is pitted in some areas. The courts slope slightly.

 3 Tennis Ball RatingSetting: Located in a quiet residential area on tree lined streets. The park itself is not often too crowded enabling you too focus on your game.

BallRating2Crowdedness: The courts are often jumped on by local residents on nice days, making finding a clear one a little more challenging. At least there are four, which gives one a chance.
